A really yummy meal of German sausages...
The Frankfurter Würstchen (little Frankfurter sausage) is a thin, boiled sausage of pure pork in a casing of mutton's intestine. The special taste is acquired by a special method of smoking the pork. They should in no case be cooked; they are only allowed to be heated in hot water for about eight minutes. Traditionally, they are served with bread, custard, horseradish and/or potato salad (Wikipedia 2012). Errrm, Merlion Wayfarer thought it tasted delicious until she knew about the intestines and its semi-cooked state...
Ingredients
Merlion Wayfarer had a look at some of the most delicious ingredients that went into the food above:
Ox Heart Tomatoes: Ever wondered how they got their name?
Oxheart tomatoes have a characteristic heart shape, from which their name comes. They are a sweet type of fruit and can be grown in a variety of colors and sizes. Most oxheart tomatoes are large, ranging in size to as much as a pound or slightly more. This makes them especially popular, since they are easily grown and produce a great deal of large tomatoes (eHow Home 2012).

They look sooo perfect! Are they real?
And finally, to top it all off, what's German food without some German beer?
