What Does Hotel Del Luna’s Yeo Jin-Goo Always Eat When In Singapore?

Yesterday, Yeo Jin-Goo was in town to promote his latest show, Hotel Del Luna.

Run by a cursed CEO, Hotel Del Luna is a rusty-looking hotel that only serves dead souls. The owner Man-wol (IU) has committed a severe crime in her past life, so has been confined in the hotel for a long long time. Coincidentally, she meets an elite hotel manager Goo Chan-sung, who is the youngest vice-manager of a multinational franchise hotel company. However, due to a stroke of fate, Chan-sung ends up running the hotel and facing different mysterious stories that happened there…

"I would like to visit Clarke Quay again, but of course, I’m open to exploring new places in Singapore, so please let me have your recommendations!”
--- Yeo Jin-Goo's comment that left the fans screaming out their recommendations ---

“In Korea, we have a saying that if you leave the food on your plate uneaten, then after you die, you might face the punishment of having to finish all the food you left behind.”
--- Yeo Jin-Goo, on why he will always finish up his favourite dish of Chilli Crab ---

"I’m not exactly afraid of ghosts or anything supernatural, but I do get frightened easily by things that appear suddenly, like bugs. (Laughs) If a really small insect popped out of nowhere, I might still jump out of fear!"
--- Yeo Jin-Goo, on his fears ---

"It’s very hard to choose as they’re both very different in nature. For dramas, you need to be very adaptable and attentive because there could be slight changes to the storyline that you have to act out on a whim. On the other hand, you get more time to dive deeper into your research for a movie role before filming begins. They each have their own charms and I wouldn’t want to choose one over the other."
--- Yeo Jin-Goo, on the difference between acting in dramas and movies ---

“The drama’s ending isn’t exactly a happy one and I remember crying so much after filming the last scene. The same went for all my co-stars.”
--- Yeo Jin-Goo, on the last scene in Hotel Del Luna ---

He displayed his impeccable acting skills through a little game he played during the occasion, where he was given three scenarios to act out on the spot. When asked to persuade the audience to buy a luxurious yacht at triple the purchase price, a simple and sincere "please buy it" from him melted the fans' hearts and garnered multiple buyers.

Following the press conference was a cosy exclusive fan moment, where he met with 70 fans selected by tvN Asia and StarHub. They came bearing gifts and were mesmerised by his radiant smile and sincere greetings, took group photos with the dashing male lead.

Catch the 16-episode Hotel Del Luna every Tuesday and Wednesday at 2145 hours on tvN (StarHub  824 & Singtel TV 518/619).

About Yeo Jin-Goo

Making his debut in the entertainment industry as a child actor, Yeo Jin-Goo is undoubtedly one of the most conspicuous new generation actors. He caught much attention in various tvN productions including Hwayi: A Monster Boy (2013), Circle (2017) and The Crowded Clown (2019), and his acting has enchanted not only the drama directors but also the worldwide audience. With his superb acting skills, he has won the Most Promising Actor awarded by tvN Movies in 2017; Best Actor (TV) of the 55th Baeksang Arts Awards. In 2019, he was cast in Hong sisters’ fantasy mystery drama Hotel Del Luna alongside IU. Asia's Got Talent Season 3 - The Grand Finalists

After weeks of tough competition and impressive performances, the Grand Final of Asia’s Got Talent Season 3 took place on Thursday at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore with a show-stopping performance. Fans have voted and the judges have made their picks.

The 9 Grand Finalists are:

Merlion Wayfarer had the chance to meet and talk to some of the Grand Finalists. Here are their stories:

This is the MANIAC Family from Taiwan, a hiphop group formed by a teacher with her students. Coming from very different backgrounds and now each with their own jobs and schedules, their commitment to their group requires them to spend many sleepless nights practising their coordinated dance routines. Yes, with so many opinions in the group, they do quarrel often. But the successful resolution of each quarrel helps them understand each other better and bonds them even closer together...

We have never seen a dance performance where the love between a couple showed so clearly from a TV/stage performance. Yet these two made their love come through to touch us from afar. Anjanette is a short, bubbly powerhouse who bounces and chirps excitedly as she speaks. Jervin is her stable other half who holds and catches her every move, fall and slide. When asked how do they create the spark in their relationship despite the humdrum of everyday couple life, they shared about the trust required in each other, and that they never quarrel beyond a day. To them, we said, "You are the inspiration behind all romantic couples"...

This is Junior Good Vibes. From practising on the streets to the Grand Finals of the Asia's Got Talent show with phrases heaped on by rapper-dancer Jay Park, they're an inspiration to all.

When asked what message will they want to share with others who have a dream, they said they hope to inspire others with their own story - if they can do it, others can do it too...

During the semi-finals, we were mesmerized by Yang Shihao's performance with his Cyr Wheel. With the wheel weighing at least 15 kg, he seemed to be almost one with it as he executed his acrobatic moves. His performances from the heats to the finals was all about his life story accompanied by spellbinding music. When speaking to him, a very down-to-earth Shihao shares his story about how knowing and practising with the wheel has given him discipline and direction in life. He showed me his hands. Even now, after years of practice, he still injures himself all the time. The back of his hand showed several chipped and bruised nails. His palms were full of calluses from gripping the heavy wheel. Yet, he remains devoted to his craft...

All nine acts will be up for public voting and only one act will be crowned the winner of Asia’s Got Talent and awarded the grand prize of US$100,000. Voting opens from Thursday, 4 April until Wednesday, 10 April, 11:59pm, and fans can vote via Google Search and Facebook Messenger. For more information on voting, visit www.AXN-Asia.com/AGTVote.

Record-breaking Asia's Got Talent returns to AXN for a sizzling third season with music industry icons and celebrity judges David Foster, Anggun and Jay Park as they witness a new generation of talent unfold, and ultimately Asia's next superstar.

Will it be Indonesia's Frans Sisir who is able to belt out Frank Sinatra's medleys with a comb, the powerful yet enchanting Yang Shih Hao from Taiwan who spins magic with his Cyr Wheel, or Singapore's very own TK Jiang, the first and only magician from Singapore to receive the Golden Buzzer?

Tune in to AXN on 04 April Thursday at 2030 hours to see which of these charismatic semi-finalists made it to the Grand Final, where the prize of US$100,000 awaits them.

More on AXN's website here.

About TK Jiang

TK was given his first magic set from Daiso at age 10. Pursuing and perfecting his craft since he was in secondary school, he had accumulated a significant stash of books and magic sets in his home.

One year ago, on his way home after class, he noticed firefighters and police under his block in Upper Boon Keng Road. The entire flat that he shared with his parents, who were also not home at the time, suffered heavy soot damage, and the family had to move out immediately. He lost all his magic equipment, which included close-up and stage magic props.

Making the most of what he had left in his school bag - his laptop and tablet, he turned to digital magic. He tried crowdfunding on Give.asia where $7,000 was raised, which went towards the refurbishment of his flat and replacing his magic equipment.

"I was able to bounce back so quickly because of all the unexpected support I received, so I decided to audition for Asia's Got Talent as a way to repay all the people who helped me."
--- TK Jiang ---

During his Asia's Got Talent audition, the 23-year-old business administration undergraduate from Singapore Management University, performed an original trick that involved objects such as balls, fruits and even a glass of juice apparently "emerging" from his iPad. Korean-American judge Jay Park was so impressed and entertained, he pressed his Golden Buzzer for Mr Jiang, sending him straight to the semi-finals.

Back To Friends with Man With A Plan & The Odd Couple

Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry, who famously played roommates Joey Tribbiani and Chandler Bing, respectively, on Friends, will have a reunion of sorts when their shows start airing on their new home, RTL CBS Entertainment.

The Odd Couple, starring Matthew Perry, will have the premiere of its third season on October 21. Matt LeBlanc’s new show Man With A Plan is set to premiere on October 28.

As both shows go on air this October, viewers can look forward to Friday night fun watching two different but humorous takes on the domestic challenges faced by modern guys.

Is "Daddy Fun Times" Really Fun At Home?
Le Blanc’s new role in is a seeming departure from Joey Tribbiani’s womanizing as his equally hilarious role in Man With A Plan looks into the challenges that fatherhood pose.

In this new series, LeBlanc plays the role of Adam Burns, a contractor who finds himself taking care of his three kids when his wife, a stay-at-home Mom for 13 years goes back to work. While Adam wanted to call himself “Daddy Fun Times,” he discovers that parenthood is not always a smooth and easy ride.

LeBlanc was “Daddy Fun Times” to his kids...

Until his wife decides to go back to the workforce...

As Adam gets to perform his new role as head of the household, he finds himself dealing with his kids’ internet addiction, untidiness, and the need for their wishes to be constantly indulged. Among Adam’s misadventures is only having Listerine strips to offer when his kids look for snacks while on the way to school. Adam also forgets a universal sentiment among kids - that cleaning up and doing chores is no fun.

Adam also offers up some timeless fatherly advice. After his youngest daughter tells him that kindergarten frightens her, Adam says: “Honey, you should be worried – kids are mean. But just know, if you ever feel uncomfortable, just start swingin’ – a punch in the nose could be a real problem solver.”

The kids no longer enjoy “Daddy Fun Times” as he's no longer fun...

Faced with these mounting pressures, can Adam really be the great father that his wife expects him to be?

For Better Or For Worse
LeBlanc played a womanizer in Friends but it looks like he has passed on that role to his real-life buddy Matthew Perry, who is back on The Odd Couple as playboy sportswriter and radio sports host Oscar Madison. On the show, Oscar ends up living with his college friend, Felix Unger (played by Thomas Lennon), in a disorderly bachelor apartment, after his ex-wife divorces him for being thoughtless.

Going for a second shot at real love, Oscar copes with his new life together with Felix, a clean freak whose desire for a clean apartment puts him at odds with his divorcee friend. And even as Oscar begins dating other women, he never quite moves on from his previous marriage.

As Oscar and Felix try to get past their differences, will they finally find their dream romance by season three?

Catch The Odd Couple Season 3 premiere on October 21, 2130 hours (2030 hours JKT/BKK), and Man With A Plan series premiere on October 28, 2100 hours (2000 hours JKT/BKK), first and exclusive on RTL CBS Entertainment.
