Chinatown Street Market 2014 - Turn Left, Turn Right

South Bridge Road, Chinatown
Central, Singapore
January 2014

The Buddha Tooth Relic Temple was a crossroads for these two pedestrians:

Turn Left  Mdm Lee just finished her lunch at the nearby Maxwell Market after arriving by bus. Anxious to start her Chinese New Year shopping at the street market, she hurries her pace. The day is cloudy, an umbrella comes in handy if the skies open up. Also useful if she needs some support when her legs ache from all the walking later.

Turn Right  After a few days of Asian food in his Singapore travels, Bryan spots the Western food stall in the nearby kopitiam. Decidedly hungry, he quickens his pace, his height and long strides narrowing the distance easily. He ignores Adam, who is lagging behind, and trying very hard to catch up with his taller friend.
