Over 150 actors were auditioned for their roles, resulting in a final cast of 12 full-timers and 8 part-timers. All actors in the attraction have undergone a 6-week intensive training programme with performance coaches from UK. The training involved honing visitor interaction, characterisation and improvisation skills as well as learning several scripts, as all actors need to be versatile enough to perform all characters in the attraction.

Just after scanning your ticket, this off-duty samsui lady greets you.
In her Ah Lian Singlish style, she tells the young tourists the importance of brushing teeth with both a toothbrush and toothpaste.
Her loud giggly style captures the attention of the young audience...

Together with her new friend, the coolie, they lightheartedly brief all on the simple house rules before entering the Singapore Harbour Board office to meet her boss - No photos, no videos, no food and drink, no playing with the actors or pulling their hair...

Handsome guys are always a hit with young girls. Here he takes a wefie with the young ladies...

All else quietens when the doors swing open and the fierce lady boss appears giving very clear instructions with her clipped British accent...

Merlion Wayfarer's favourite was the Jubilee Cinema where the audience gets to watch a black-and-white movie clip before a simulated bombing ensues, resulting in a run through a smoke-filled jungle to safety...

The attraction is housed next to Madame Tussauds Singapore. Both attractions are by the special “Spirit of Singapore” boat ride which uses dynamic lighting and multi-sensory effects to showcase scenes in modern Singapore.

The first time that Merlion Wayfarer sat on the brief but introspective boat ride showcasing Singapore's achievements and landmarks over the new millennium...

The Merlion with Gardens By  The Bay...

The Marina Bay Sands and Singapore Airlines, the world's most awarded airline...

The Singapore F1 Grand Prix - the world's first and only night race...

The racial harmony exhibited by the races that co-exist peacefully on Singapore shores...

Combination tickets for both IOS LIVE and Madame Tussauds Singapore attractions are available. More details at www.imagesofsingaporelive.com.
