ASUS ZenBook 3

The Zenbook 3 is a thin and light clamshell ultraportable with a 12.5-inch screen and Intel Core i5 and i7 hardware inside. Weighing around 910 grams, it is one of the sleekest and lightest laptops available these days. Retailing at S$1988, it will be available from 22 October 2016.

ASUS Transformer 3 Pro 

The Transformer 3 Pro is ASUS’ flagship hybrid device, and it is quite a stunning blend of both performance and design. For starters, its aluminum body feels extremely well built, and you get your pick of two snazzy-sounding colors - Icicle Gold and Glacier Gray.

It features a 12.6-inch display with a 2,880 x 1,920-pixel resolution, and can be configured with top-end specifications, including up to a sixth-generation Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB of 2,133MHz LPDDR3 RAM, and a 1TB PCIe x4 SSD.

The ASUS Transformer 3 Pro will be in Singapore from 22 October 2016 and costs from $1898...

ASUS ZenWatch 3 

The ASUS ZenWatch 3 includes a 316L stainless steel body and a 1.39-inch circular AMOLED display with a resolution of 400×400. Inside, the smartwatch comes with the recently launched Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor, which has been optimized specifically for wearable devices. It also has 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage a 340mAh battery. The ZenWatch 3 will come pre-installed with 50 watch faces, which offers more than enough customization options. It will be in Singapore from November 2016 and costs about $369.

ASUS ZenFone 2 Laser and ZenFone Go - Light Speed With Gorilla

Two new models were recently added to the award-winning ZenFone series - The ZenFone 2 Laser and ZenFone Go were launched on 14 October 2015 in Singapore. These are the first two ASUS phones with removable batteries, topped with Dual SIM capability, the 13MP PixelMaster camera, and Corning Gorilla Glass 4.

ZenFone 2 Laser

ZenFone 2 Laser series starts with the ZE500KG and ZE500KL that comes with a 5" HD 720p display. The ZE500KG is the lowest denominator as it supports dual-SIMs with just 3G HSPA+ connectivity. It runs a 1.2GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 410 processor that’s mated with 2GB of RAM and it comes with either 8GB or 16GB of storage that’s expandable with microSD. For imaging, it gets an 8MP f/2.0 rear shooter with Laser AF and PixelMaster technology. Meanwhile the front gets a 5MP f/2.0 selfie shooter. Powering the device is a 2,070 mAh battery and it runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with its ZenUI.

The ZE500KL is similar with the ZE500KG but it is slightly better with support for 4G LTE and has a higher resolution 13MP f/2.0 main camera with either a 2,070mAh unit or a larger 2,400mAh option. 

Moving up a notch is the 5.5" Zenfone 2 Laser which is likely to be the popular choice. The front display is a larger 5.5″ size with a HD 720p resolution and accompanying it is a generous 3,000mAh capacity battery. For those wanting a bigger screen like the former Zenfone 6, there is also a 6-inch variant with a Snapdragon 615 Octa-Core processor and 3GB of RAM.

Priced at the entry level end of the market, the ZenFone Go, a 3G-enabled smartphone sports a 5-inch display with a 1280 x 720 HD resolution, sporting a pixel density of 294ppi. It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with 2GB RAM.

The device includes 8GB of internal storage and can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD card. The handset sports an 8MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture along with a 2MP front facing camera.

ZenFone Selfie

ZenFone Selfie smartphone was launched in June 2015. The phone comes with a 5.50-inch touchsceen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels at a PPI of 403 pixels per inch. Powered by 1.7GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor and with 3GB RAM, the phone packs 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card, in addition to 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 13-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

The ZenFone 2 Laser 5.5-inch (ZE550KL) will be available in Black, Red and White colours at $279 at Best Denki, Challenger, Gain City, Harvey Norman, MC2, Newstead, Singtel, Starhub and M1 shops.
