On 31 December 2013, Merlion Wayfarer attended the annual New Year’s Eve countdown show at The Float @ Marina Bay. Held in conjunction with TV50, MediaCorp's celebration of 50 years of television in Singapore, it was a fitting finale to a year-end party.
The neon lights and cityscape enhanced the spellbinding mood of the evening...
It certainly felt good to be seated on the right side of the Marina Reservoir, away from the crowds on the other bank...
Dazzling lights are projected from both sides of the Bay...

Ensuring that all the fireworks are fired successfully...
